Here are answers to Frequently Asked Questions.

How can I find out more?: Either by calling us on 0845 123 1132 to have your initial questions answered or by submitting the Information Brochure request form found on this website. Alternatively, we would be delighted to invite you to visit our head office for an informal discussion where you could meet the team, see how the business works in greater detail and review the potential in your area.
How long will my day be?: You can only work when the businesses are open to receive you i.e. normally from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday, and therefore your evenings and weekends are free to spend with your family and friends.
How do you allocate a territory to me?: We don’t! Most of our Franchisee’s want to operate near to where they live, so we let you choose an extensive territory from the postcodes areas that are still available.
Will I know where potential customers can be found?: Yes, as part of the franchise package, we include a comprehensive database listing all the suitable businesses in your area. This is not only very useful for the initial siting exercise that ChariSnack completes for you, but also to assist you expand your customer base in the future.
Do I need any premises?: No, you take the snacks directly to employees in their place of work and therefore avoid the expense and hassle of acquiring and maintaining premises. This is a business you can easily run from home.
Is this business suited to men, women or couples?: Yes, all three! It appeals to people of any age and background who enjoy getting out and meeting people and not being stuck behind a desk!
Will I be doing lots of miles in a van?: Surprisingly, no! Most of our franchisees do less than 10,000 miles per year, largely because they plan their replenishment routes to allow multiple ‘pick-ups’ from the same area.
If I work all day, will I have to use my evenings to do lots of paperwork?: No, with this type of business, there are very few overheads, very few invoices and, consequently, there is minimal paperwork and administration to complete. Your evenings and weekends are your own with ChariSnack!
Do you have to do any selling?: No, our healthy products are very much in demand and are readily accepted. Companies feel that ChariSnack is actually providing a benefit for their staff as well as giving the company an opportunity to contribute to a worthwhile cause.
Do you pack and deliver the stock to the Franchisee?: Yes, our snacks are supplied, packed and delivered free of charge.
Can I source my own van?: Yes, but the van is an important part of the corporate image and is also a very effective marketing tool. We need to ensure that all vans are identical and, therefore, your ChariSnack van is fully sign written and the interior is specially fitted out for the ChariSnack business.
Can I pay the Franchise fee by instalments after I start trading?: No, but we can introduce you to bankers who will consider providing you with up to 70% of the capital required by way of a business loan (subject to status).
Are you members of the British Franchise Association?: Yes, ChariSnack is fully accredited by and a Provisional Member of the BFA
Do you guarantee 150 customers?: Yes, but we do not expect you to remain at that level. The initial 150 customers will give you an immediate income stream on the launch of your new business. We would then expect you to grow your customer base by adding more customers each week.
